Meet the experts behind our company

Neil Keeley

Neil Keeley is the proprietor of The Sign Expert and has spent his entire working life in the signage industry.
At 16 years of age Neil started on a two year YTS programme with Bush Signs. Here he spent time in all departments through the entire business from Metal and Neon Shops through Design and Installation to Accounts and eventually into Estimating where he spent the next 5 years. At that point Neil moved into sales and was successful through to redundancy in 1998.
He then moved onto Sign 2000 in Kent where he ended up running the business and gathering a good understanding of how businesses in the sign industry run. Neils time at S2K oversaw a growth from £1.4m to £4.2m and all of the associated issues.
He moved on to be closer to home.
The most recent years have been spent locally working for a growing local sign business where he ended up as Managing Director. Again Neil oversaw a dramatic growth from £0.5m to £2.2m and helped reposition the business from very much a trade provider to end user supplier.
Along the way Neil has been involved in significant projects from large scale but small site number programmes for BHS and TKMaxx to 400 site rollouts for One Stop and Superdrug/Savers. Additionally he has been successful in securing numerous blue chip contracts and advising colleague on many more, these including brands such as KFC, Monsoon, Lidl and many other well know brands. He also secured large-scale projects such as The American Express Community Stadium (home of Brighton and Hove Albion) which included signage from individual No Smoking statutory signs through superbright LED media screen and casements right up to huge monster flexfaces, curved and mounted to the head of the stadium.
This is a new adventure for Neil, but over the 32+ years in the industry he has seen it all and is hopeful of being able to offer this knowledge and experience and being involved with many other successful sign businesses. Neil is a major Brighton and Hove Albion FC fan and a season ticket holder, but please don't hold that against him.
